There is much debate on who actually built these miraculous sight, but all the researchers believe the men were trying to impress the ladies. These gardens were built to mime a natural mountain landscape and were watered with a novel irrigation system. These gardens were important to history because they are considered to be on of the Seven Wonders of the World.
