Description:
Catherine de Medici persuaded Catholic KIng Charles XI at the wedding of his sister and Henry of Navarre, political leader of the Huguenots, to wipe out the Huguenots. The massacre led to the War of Three Henries and Henry of Navarre to become king of France and convert to Catholicism. In 1598, the Edict of Nantes ended all religous conflict.
