Alexander the Great was born on July 26th 356 BCE. His father was the king of Macedonia, which was a kingdom located in Ancient Greece. Throughout his childhood, Alexander the Great’s father was very absent. He would be busy with his job and would have numerous affairs. While Alexander the Great had a high respect for his mother, Queen Olympia, he didn’t feel the same way about his father. Although King Philip II was proud of Alexander and all of his accomplishments, Alexander didn’t feel the same. Throughout his life, Alexander would hate his father.
