Causes: England wanted to demolish the Colonist's supply of weaponry and ammo. They also wished to arrest Samuel Adams and John Hancock.Effects: First shots of the revolution fired by British soldiers. Eight Minutemen died and ten more were injured. This marked the beginning of the American Revolution.
