Description:

The Battle Of Lexington and Concord is what started the American Revolution. The night before the 19 British troops marched from Boston to Lexington. Paul Revere noticed them and got on his horse and spread the word. The militiaman began to form. The next day 70 militiaman went against 700 British troops. Their 8 militiaman died and forced them to retreat. After the British troops marched to Concord where 4,000 militiaman were and fought the troops. This was the first battle of the American Revolution, which British lost. This is also known as the 'shot heard around the world.'
