"That’s when Hart pulled me over again for no apparent reason and told me to get out of the car. I told Hart, “I know my rights. You can’t keep harassing me.” Hart told me to shut up and just get out of the car. I told Hart that I was entitled to know why I was being pulled over. Hart’s face turned beet red and the next thing I knew Hart pulled me out and slammed me up against my car.
Hart asked me if I was carrying any weapons. I told Hart that my gun, for which I was properly licensed, was in my shoulder holster in the glove compartment. Hart then started rifling through my car looking for something to arrest me for. There wasn’t anything, of course, so Hart said I was going to be charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Hart gave me a citation and said that I’d also get something in the mail. I know for sure that I told Hart I had recently moved to Martin’s Landing, and that the address on my license was the old Soltoffville address. Officer Hart just smiled and said, “That’s all I really need to know.”
