jul 9, 1755 - Braddock's Defeat

Description:

The British sent Edward Braddock to Virgina since it realized that they couldn't just rely on the colonists funding or the troops. When they went to Fort Duquesne, there were less than 900 French and Indian troops, so George Washington said that they should attack from the trees. Braddock ended up dying because of his wounds and many were surprised by his defeat.
