The Printing Press was created by Johann Gutenberg, after it was created, books didn't have to be handwritten hence the fact that they would spread faster. The fast spread of books allowed teachers and other people to diffuse their ways of thinking across Europe,(subjective visions and objective knowledge) such as the way they perceived religions.
