After much hard work and training, It is finally time for the tryouts for the Center State Select Team. Joey notices that Butch, Leah and a bunch of his friends from school are all there to watch.
During his first at-bat, Joey hits a ground ball to Zach, who dives, makes the play, and fires to first, but not in time to get Joey out at first base.
During Zach's first at-bat, Joey is is tempted to tell the pitcher that if he threw every pitch inside , he would be able to strike Zach out because thats where his fatal flaw is. But once again, he keeps his mouth shut for the sake of his best friend. Despite this, Zach struck out anyway and blames it on Joey because he thinks that he told the pitcher about his fatal flaw.
During Joey's second at-bat, he strikes out because he was swinging too hard.
During Zach's second at-bat, he hit's a fly ball to Joey, who made a diving catch over the fence to get him out.
During Joey's third at-bat, he hits a home run! After that, his diving catch, and Zach's failure to get a hit so far in the game, it was starting to look like Joey was definitely going to make it onto the team.
During Zach's third and final at-bat, he grounds out. Once agian blaming it on Joey.
