Description:

Life in Missouri was far from perfect. Non-Mormons destroyed Mormon churches and homes. Eventually, this culminated in a violent exchange of fire between Mormons and an angry mob which resulted in three deaths. After this, the Mormons were expelled from Missouri. Smith tried to prevent this by making a military band to help their comrades, but it failed, their forces being decimated by disease and vastly outnumbered.
