A peace conference was held in attempt to conclude the Thirty Years War, they agreed on giving the Swiss independence of Austria and the Netherlands independence of Spain. Germany secured their autonomy. Sweden gained territory and money, Brandenburg and Bavaria benefited too, and France acquired most of Alsace-Lorraine.The treaty marked the end of the Thirty Years War.Added to timeline:
