Description:
The Quartering Act was a law passed by the British parliament which required colonist to house the Redcoats with a place to live and food. It was supposed to slow down tension from the French and Indian War and each housing of 4 had at least 1 redcoat staying with them. Colonist were growing increasingly frustrated with having to house the redcoats and refused to comply with the law.
