mar 20, 1774 - Intolerable Acts

Description:

These acts were enacted by the prime minister of Britain in response to the Boston Tea Party. It took away the colony of Massachusetts' right of self-government and judicial independence, which the colonists found very unfair. This caused the colonies to boycott British goods. It also strengthened the colonists revolutionary spirit, which made them even more willing to go against the British government and separate themselves from it once and for all.
