The Extremadura Campaign occurred in Spain during the Spanish Civil War. Nationalists troops went on a march destroying every town they came in contact with. Nationalists wanted to occupy land that was made open by the government because peasants could no longer occupy land. The Nationalists occupied the western half of Badajoz.Added to timeline:
