mar 18, 1774 - Point of No Return
Description:
I believe the Coercive Acts was the point of no return in the war. Tensions had been set so high that the coercive acts paved the way of resistance of the patriots and further pushed the colonists to unite together to resist British rule. The actions until this point had isolated the two groups socially so severely that there was no possible way to avoid a war. The colonists and British, who saw things so differently now, would not have been able to compromise fairly without conflict.
