Description:

the battles raged for eighteen days. Freeman's Farm, Bennington, Breymann's Redoubt, and Finally Saratoga. After heavy British casualties General Burgoyne retreats to Saratoga where he hopes to take a last stand. However, he is quickly surrounded by Patriot forces and is forced to surrender. At the end of the day 440 Britsh soldiers had been killed to the Patriot 90. This was a huge victory. As soon as France heard the news they openly declared their support for the Patriots. This was a massive turning point in the war.
