11 h, dec 3, 2003 y - Bob finds a Walmart, they run into Martinez's group.

Description:
- Day 137
- One morning Bob goes off to fish by a creak he found. Josh and Lilly discuss their concern for him. Lilly's injuries have completely healed by this point.
- Bob returns having not found the creek but something better; a Walmart which he takes them to.
- Inside the Walmart a headless body lies on the floor, its name tag reads 'Elmer K'. A lot of the aisles are looted. They decide the shop is safe and Lilly asks if they can clean it up and stay, however the place is a target. Some of the higher shelves still have supplies so the group loots them. Bob finds some more alcohol and takes what he can from the pharmacy. They also find a Desert Eagle which Bob fan boys over.
- Josh hears something at the front of the store so they hide. All of their supplies are in the car with Megan. Bob and Scott flank one way and Josh and Lilly go the other behind the pharmacy counter. An unknown person asks if anyone is home.
- There are six men all heavily armed with Megan hostage. Bob jumps up and tells them to let her go which results in Josh and Lilly pointing their guns at the men. The leader tries to calm them down and orders Haynes to let Megan go. She stumbles over to Bob and Scott. The leader insists he didn't know how many people they were dealing with and orders his group to lower their weapons. He introduces himself as Martinez.
- Martinez offers them to come to their walled off community which has food and beds. Josh, Lilly, Bob, Megan and Scott discuss by the checkouts. Megan doesn't like the idea of it, and Josh doesn't see any harm in checking the place out. They agree to go.
