The Sons of Liberty were a secret organization that followed John Lock's philosophy they rebelled against the British government system. John lock was a philosopher who was also an enlightenment thinker who spoke of the three natural laws which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Some of the members were Samuel Adams, Benedict Arnold, John Hancock, and Patrick Henry.
