mar 31, 1774 - Intolerable Acts Passed By Parliament

Description:

After the Boston Tea Party, the colonists began to fury so King George III and Parliament passed the Coercive Acts which were so cruel that the colonists called them the Intolerable Acts. The acts were created to punish the Massachusetts colonies for their protest of the Boston Tea Party and to warn other colonies. The Intolerable Acts closed down Boston's port until the damages of the Boston Tea Party were paid off. The neighboring colonies helped and supported the colonists in Massachusetts by sending food and money to the people in Boston.
