Description:
- The tension finally erupted into the first real act of rebellion on the Switzerland border
- Peasants of Swabia and Franconia organized armies and spread the war within the West and South of Germany
- Nobles (such as Florian Geyer, Götz von Berlichingen and Ulrich I) and a large number of townsmen the that were discontent with the Church gave aid to the peasants
- In order to control the discontentment, Catholic Lords attempted to restrict assembly within the rural districts.
