Description:

11 year old Salva (from the Dinka Tribe) is at school in an Arabic lesson when he starts to hear the gunshots go off in the village. Salva's teacher rushes the kids off near the bush to flee from the ongoing war that has been going on for 2 years. The cause of the war is that the North wants the South to be an all Islamic territory. However, the South does not want to practice the religion of Islam and fights back for independence from the North. This war involved many parts of Africa.
