Description:

On December 6, 1921, Canada held their 14th Federal Election. The Liberal Party won whose leader was William Lyon Mackenzie King with 118 seats. The progressive party came second with 58 seats, and whose leader was Thomas Alexander Crerar. Third place was Arthur Meighen with the conservative party. This election was the first where the majority of women were allowed to vote. As well, five women ran for office, including Agnes Macphail who was elected the first woman PM of Canada for the Progressive Party.
