dec 11, 1931 - Statute Of Westminister (Political)

Description:

On December 11, 1931, a British law was passed down stating that Canada's government can make laws without Britain's confirmation. Canada was still not fully independent even after 1867, but only untill this statute was passed. This gave Canada a lot of freedom and was the final step towards Canada's independence from the British Empire.
