Description:
In 1780 the British decided to move military focus down to the southern colonies and easily took the loyalist stronghold. In an act of defense the the congress voted to make the hero of the saratoga battle command of an army.This was done without the commander-in-chief' consent and the hero's lead caused a stunning defeat forever stunting his reputation in the colonies.
