sep 5, 1774 - 1st Continental Congress

Description:

The first Continental Congress was 12 out of 13 colonies gathering together to complain about the British, which fanned the flames and thus resulted in the Americans rebelling via boycotting the British. Due to the fact that the British recognized that the Colonists were rebelling and sent troops to control the Colonists, the American Revolution started. The Continental Congress meetings (particularly the second) also likely led to the permanent Congress that was implemented in the the Constitution of the United States.
