Description:

A meeting of delegates from twelve of the Thirteen Colonies who met from September 5 to October 26, 1774, at Carpenters' Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, early in the American Revolution.
-The first Continental Congress was basically organizing the resistance.
-We wanted to get back at the British for the Intolerable Acts, so we did an embargo/ boycott.
-The only tea that was available in Boston was British Tea, so we embargoed their tea.
-King George, "Colonies are in rebellion".
-The first battle of the American revolution.
-This resulted in Battle of lexington and couzard.
