dec 18, 1664 - Robert Hooke
Description:
Robert Hooke was the man to create the word cells, by looking into a cork with his microscope, and realizing that the chambers in the cork reminded him of the cells or rooms that monks used to sleep in in monostaries. He later has beef with Sir Issac Newton over Robert's claim that Robert inspired Issac.
