oct 3, 1926 - Erwin Schrodinger's Electron Cloud Model

Description:

Erwin was a German physicist who is responsible for the modern atomic model: the electron cloud model. He came up with the model in 1926, furthering the Bohr model and the model's ideas. Erwin used math to create equations that were like close descriptions of the probability of finding an electron in a particular position (the quantum mechanical model). He developed the electron cloud in which there was a dense nucleus surrounded by cloud of electrons which were placed at random depending on their energy and various levels. Erwin and Werner Heisenburg discovered regions where these electrons most likely would be found through mathematical equations.
