His special theory of relativity was the basis in the release of any atomic energy. in 1905, Einstein also proved the existence of atoms through way of math which of course assisted in revolutionizing sciences. This is his major contribution to atomic theory, as he created a way mathematically to predict the size or atoms and molecules.
