jul 29, 1896 - Henri Becquerel
Description:
Henri was a French physicist who discovered radioactivity in 1896, impacting the ideas of the structure of an atom. He forced scientists to drastically change their idea of atomic structure after his radioactivity discovery. Something interesting is that his discovery wasn't totally intentional, in fact somewhat of an accident making it a spontaneous discovery. he studied different rays and types of radiation, also studying uranium which was affiliated with that type of activity. He was the first person to conclude the idea of having an atom be radioactive.
