7h 50min, oct 24, 400 y BC - Democritus (Democritus Model)
Description:
Democritus was a Greek philosopher who was first searching for a description for matter and questioned if matter could forever be divided into smaller pieces or if there was a limit to how many times matter could be divisible. It was theorized that there was a limit, and the smallest possible piece (the atom) would be indivisible. The model he created was a simple ball, the best description of the model being a billiard ball which displayed the atom.
