After having to listen Samsung has been getting for their off edge screen, Apple took it upon themselves to just go big....and slim. They planned and tested and came out with the IPhone 7, back then it was their most slim phone released. It also was the first smartphone to not have an earbud jack. Instead they introduced Airpods and a IPhone charger to AUX port. This will continue in the rest of their phones.
