Description:

The royal proclamation was it stated that Americans could not settle or buy land so it meant Americans were prohibited to settle in Appalachia. The British didn't want another war like the the french and Indian war so they didn't let colonists settle over the boundary line but colonists were very upset. The proclamation was issued by king george the 3rd to offically cliam british territory in north america.
