We completed a 22,200 square foot addition and renovation project for repeat customer, NYE Volkswagen in Rome, New York. As the design-builder on this project we worked with Alesia & Crewell Architects, P.C. to meet specific Volkswagen specs.
The dealership remained open during construction so we worked in phases. The original lot had two separate buildings for the showroom and garage. In the first phase we built an addition to connect the two buildings creating a new service area, work space, and waiting area. In the second phase we renovated the showroom and sales offices. All finishes and furniture were determined by strict Volkswagen brand guidelines. The exterior was covered with an exterior insulation and finish system to match the stucco look of the existing showroom.
