Was a series of peace treaties that ended the European Wars of Religion. The treaty took away the power of King Ferdinand III and returned it to the conquered kingdoms. The treaty also gave the kingdoms choice of religion such as Calvinism or Catholicism, along with the Dutch Republic gaining independance. This marked the first time where a Protestant religion was recognized as an official religion.
