Description:
The Tea Act was passed by parliament as a way to tax colonist by putting taxes on resources such as tea. The Tea Act was the last time the King allowed something like this to happen and taxes imposed by Britain on the American colonies. Colonist had enough and this event led up to the first Continental Congress meeting.
