Description:

The Boston Port Act was an act made to punish the colonist for The Boston Tea Party. What this act did, was that it closed Boston Port. This port is where many goods and supplies arrived from other countries. It was one of the greatest ports at the time. This meant that people couldn't get the things they needed, but it was later reopened.This was also one of the Intolerable Acts.
