jan 25, 1765 - Stamp Act: legal docs, glass, paper, etc.. Had to have a stamp on it in order to ship or deliver it, had to pay for stamps. Made lawyers and newspaper people angry, so they pushed back against them. Protesting eventually got the act repealed.
