Description:
Ivan Sutherland and his student Bob Sproull created the first VR / AR head mounted display it was called Swords of Damocles.Instead of being connected to a camera like others were Ivan and Bob decide to connect their VR/AR to a computer.But this creation was big and heavy and far to heavy for someone to wear it so it was suspend from the ceiling and they would have to strap people in to use it.
