This bill was signed and passed into a law by President Ronald Reagan, who was Republican. This law changed how Indian Gaming was protected from before, allowing more economic opportunities for Indian Reservations. The law still stands today without any major changes.

I chose this law because it was interesting to me how places like casinos with gambling were allowed to having gaming, but in other places it is illegal.
