Description:
The Boston Tea Party took place in the Boston Harbor. This event was planned by this group named The Sons Of Liberty and for a few weeks they had been trying stop tea imported from East India Trading Company from being unloaded and taken to shore. The Sons Of Liberty had been successful in other areas from preventing tea to be unloaded but in Boston tea was still being brought to shore. On December 16th, 1773 a group of men in costumes or disguises that looked like native americans went onto the ships that carried tea and started throwing cases of tea into the water and eventually threw 342 cases of tea.
