Description:
The townshend revenue act were new taxes and laws that were created. The reason why the townshend revenue act was put was because the taxes and laws weren't working and earning money in order to pay off the french and Indian war. One of the laws of the townshend revenue act was to set up new courts in America and send smugglers to jail.
