Description:

The Quartering Act was a law passed by the parliament in 1765 that required the colonist to house and supply British soldiers. The law was put because it was a cost-saving measure and the king asked colonial assemblies to pay taxes to support military actions, britain own large debts. How it affect the colonist was by they had to pay on british soliders for supplies, troops, housing, and ither items.
