may 3, 1765 - Quartering Act Passed By Parliament
Description:
The Quartering Act was a law passed by Parliament that required colonists to house British Soldiers and supply them with all of their needed supplies. These supplies consisted of blankets, clothes, bed, food, firewood, candles, and many more items. The colonists were forced to do this as a way of thanking the British troops who fought in the Seven Year War and risked their lives for the better of the colonists.
