Time period of economic crisis; people were out of work, homeless, live in poverty, and were hungry, Many families lost their savings, because banks collapsed and the economy was falling. This impacted trading, Germany began invading neighboring countries, Japan implemented the economic policies that would then be used to help other countries. WW2 actually helped end Great Depression: The Great Depression had impacted the economy, politically, and socially. Politically: Badly shaking confidence in unfettered capitalism. Socially: Dust Bowl destroyed farming in mid west. Economy: no jobs, poverty increasing, crime rates increased.
