Samuel Adams is an alumni that graduated from Harvard in 1740 and became a lawyer. One thing he is known for as significance is he played an essential role in organizing the Boston Tea party, which is where colonists were trying to send a message to the British of all the taxation occurring. This event took place on December 16, 1773. Also then later on became one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Others might recognize him as John Adam´ s cousin.
