jun 15, 1767 - Townshend Revenue Act

Description:

The Townshend Revenue Act was passed by Parliament on June 15, 1767. Since the laws and taxes weren't working to payoff the debt for the French and Indian War they created the Townshend Act. A few examples, of the Townshend Act could of been the new taxes on different imports, and the act also gave British officials the right to search colonists homes.
