The dumping of 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor by colonists to protest the Tea Act. The Sons of Liberty and their leader Samuel Adams were responsible for the act. This act was done to protest British Parliament's tax on tea. Sam Adams had helped organize the event.Added to timeline:
