Japanese Internment Camps
Description:
In reaction to the attack at Pearl Harbor and WWII, FDR instituted camps that housed the Japanese populations. Fear that Japanese citizens would turn against America caused this decision. Hundreds of thousands of Japanese citizens were relocated to these camps with sub-par conditions in order to keep them from intervening with American life during this time period.
