Gentleman's Agreement
Description:
Large tensions were growing between Japan and America in relation to immigration of Japanese immigrants. Japan made an agreement that they would limit the amount of people coming to America if America agreed to rescind segregation laws. This agreement overall lowered the amount of immigrants from Japan to the United States.
